The Agricultural Equipment Usage Cooperatives (Coopératives d’Utilisation de Matériel Agricole) are cooperative type non-trading companies permitting the joint usage, by their members of material, equipment, staff or services in order to improve the profitability of their farm. There must be at least 4 members to create an Agricultural Equipment Usage Cooperatives.

Cooperatives allow their members access to various types of services for direct improvement of the functioning of the farm, by including it in collective procedures:
This is a group of employers who offer a replacement service, providing farmers, for a given period, with a replacement to carry out work on the farm.
Farmers help each other by mean of exchanges of services, work and farming resources, with reciprocal assistance, all free of charge.

Co-ownership of equipment
This involves the purchase of equipment by several farmers, who share between themselves the price and charges involved, with everyone having a right of ownership.
