These measures involve on the one hand the seller and on the other the installation candidate, in accordance with the phases in an installation process: << identification of farms available for the installation of young people, used to identify in a given area, farms without successors that will be released in the near future, and thus anticipate their takeover. << encouragement to register early on the installation directory, for farmers without successors, at least 12 months prior to the provisional date of cessation of activity. The grant of 5 000 € is paid only after a young farmer has actually been installed. << financing of the audit of a farm to be taken over,to supply the young farmer with elements to take into consideration with regard to his project. The PIDIL allocates a grant of 1 500 € per diagnosis performed.
<< for a young person, taking of a “sponsor’s” training course lasting a maximum of one year on the farm that he wishes to take over. Depending on the case, the course may be approved as professional training. It enables a young person without a farming background to prepare himself to take over a farm on site. << aid with replacement of a young person who has to be absent from the farm to take a training course: once he is installed the young farmer will need to supplement his knowledge by taking short training courses. The PIDIL covers, up to a limit of 100 days, the cost of a replacement service at the farm, and allocates a grant of 60 € per day of replacement.
