Compensation for the departing tenant: if, during his lease,the farmer in place has carried out improvements to the land etc. which are not normally the task of the tenant, compensation known as “compensation for the departing tenant” must be paid to him by the landlord at the end of the lease.

Compensation for early termination:if the lease is terminated early, compensation must be paid by the landlord to the farmer. This compensation is intended to compensate for loss of revenue that the farmer would have earned by farming the property through until the end of the lease. It is calculated on the basis of county references and is the object of an amicable agreement between the landlord and the farmer.
